ENGRAVING Nikos Desekopoulos Biographical Note Βorn in Piraeus in 1956, where he lives and works. He studied with Kostas Grammatopoulos in the Studio of Printmaking of the Athens School of Fine Arts and with Giannis Papadakis in the Studio of Art Books of the same School (commendation 1980). At the same time, he attends Painting, Ceramics and Icon painting workshops and he also illustrates and edits children's books. In 1982 - 83, along with Th. Exarchopoulos, he organized the 2nd Printmaking Workstudio in the Athens School of Fine Arts. Since August 1983 he works as an Arts teacher in Secondary Education. His personal work has been presented in to 10 personal and many grup exhibitions. He has been the President of Greek Printmakers Association since 2002. Works of his are exhibited permanently as parts of collections in National Galleries, Banks, public and private collections both in Greece and abroad.
